PrintWax Heads to Pittsburgh for Confluence 2027!

We are thrilled to announce that PrintWax will be participating in the Southern Graphics Council International (SGCI) Confluence 2027 Vendors’ Fair, October 14–15, 2027, in the magnificent Sculpture Hall of the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!

As one of the largest international gatherings dedicated to printmaking, the annual SGCI conference brings together artists, educators, students, master printers, and industry professionals for an extraordinary celebration of printmaking, innovation, and creative exchange.

The theme of Confluence 2027 explores the intersection of process, labor, and place—ideas that resonate deeply with the spirit of PrintWax and our commitment to expanding the possibilities of contemporary printmaking.

Pittsburgh, a city with a rich industrial history and vibrant creative community, provides an inspiring setting for this gathering. From Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh to the iconic Andy Warhol Museum, independent print shops, and grassroots arts organizations, Confluence will celebrate the diverse institutions and creative voices that shape the city's dynamic printmaking culture.

The conference also introduces specialized programming for collectors, curators, and art historians, opening new opportunities for discovery, dialogue, and collaboration across the international printmaking community.

Discover PrintWax at the Vendors’ Fair

We are especially excited to make our printmaking industry debut and share PrintWax, our innovative wax-based collagraph medium, with printmakers from around the world.

Developed by artist and printmaking innovator Elise Wagner, PrintWax brings the versatility of encaustic wax to collagraph printmaking, offering artists a distinctive approach to creating richly textured printing plates and exploring new possibilities in mark-making, surface, and process.
